Questions and Answers

BILINGUAL TEACHING (Mandarin-English) is offered exclusively at Cadenza Studio. Students learn and practice communicating in both languages while progressing on musical skills.

Ensuring the QUALITY of our lessons is our priority. All of our teachers are highly qualified. Not only are they skilled musicians, they are also trained music educators who have the right personality for teaching students coming from different background.

ABRSM available.

We offer weekly private and group lessons in piano, guzheng, guitar, ukulele…etc. We also have the EarlyBird Music Class (ages 3-5) and Mandarin with Singing.

We welcome students age 5 and up and at all levels for private and group lessons. Adults are welcome, too! The EarlyBird Program is designed for preschoolers. Mandarin with Singing are age and level specific.

Trial lessons are available.

Tuition varies depending on program-type and lesson length. Please contact us for a free consultation. We’d love to help picking the best program for you according to your personal goal. That way we will be able to provide you with a solid number.

Studio Group Lessons, EarlyBird Programs, and Mandarin Classes are offered at fixed times. No re-scheduling permitted.

Private Lessons and Bring Your Own Group (Group Lessons) can be  rescheduled with at least 24-hour notice.

Consistent practice along with music lessons are essential for success.

During the beginning phase, students need to practice at least 15 to 20-min.per day. Developing the habit of daily practice is the key for starters.

Obviously, the more time spent on concentrated practice, the better the progress-making.

We offer twice-a-year recitals for students to perform 1 to 2 pieces of their choice to friends and families. All recitals are stress-free; all levels are welcome! Those are simply opportunities for students to build up their confidence and to strengthen their performance skills.
